I’m not going to disguise my loathing of Donald Trump and if you thought that my Flickr post was about him and his cronies, then you are absolutely correct.

And so to paraphrase an article that has appeared in The Sydney Morning Herald on Monday, January 16th.

On Friday (January 20th) ultimate power will be handed to a narcissistic buffoon who seems determined to be entirely unembarrassed about ignoring sensible political conventions, established diplomatic norms, or even the rule of law.

The uncertainty of the world in the Era of Big Orange is almost overwhelming in its scale: just how bad will be the looming catastrophe of the Trump presidency? Will it merely merely inflict four years of humiliation on the US, strip vulnerable people of basic health care, and flood the place with guns making it too dangerous to visit, or will he take the rest of the world down with his compatriots, of whom far more voted for the other candidate?

The Book of Daniel is a Fund-Raising Event, where you can shop to save a life. A talented Second Life creator and a dear friend of many, Daniel Estro, 29 years old, (co-owner of Zerkalo, Shiny Shabby and The Crossroads) has cancer and desperately needs our help. He is currently undergoing chemotherapy as well as radiotherapy. He is fighting as hard as he can to survive but as many of you might know, fighting cancer is very expensive. We have been trying our absolute best to help them financially and we still are. But we need your help. We are doing everything humanly possible and it’s just not enough.

The Book of Daniel event has brought together 124 Second Life creators who are marketing their wares from September 10th until September 20th on the RK Poses SIM, with 100% of the proceeds going to assist Daniel Estro and his family.

For my part, I have already shopped quite a bit at this event but chose in this picture to highlight a little bot that is for sale by the décor creators, BAMSE.
