This past Tuesday, November 7th, was an exciting day in American politics as the first openly transgender person was elected to a representative office. That person is Danica Roem and she won handsomely (beautifully?) against a self-proclaimed “homophobe” in the state of Virginia. After a year of Trumpism in the United States it was wonderful to see an electorate pushing back against the hateful rhetoric that has been espoused by the most unpopular President in many decades. You go girl!!
Anyway, this image is my little tribute to Danica and to every other person who has been making strides for the LGBTQI community in this past year!! 😀
